Red Ceramic Rose With Stem
Red Ceramic Rose With Stem
The idea for roses began, when a customer on Etsy asked if I could create a white commemorative rose following a miscarriage. She had previously come to me for a poppy, and later a daffodil, and each conversation carried a great deal of emotion and trust.
That experience stayed with me. It inspired me to explore the rose form more deeply and to create them in a full spectrum of colours for my exhibitions and shop.
Each rose is individually hand built from stoneware clay and finished with vibrant, everlasting glazes.
They measure approximately 14 cm across and stand 80 cm tall, including the 8 mm wide, slightly textured iron stem.
These pieces are designed to be placed directly into a flowerbed or planter, bringing a lasting burst of colour to the garden in every season.

Cleaning Instructions
Keeping your ceramic flower sculpture looking its best is straightforward and requires only a few simple steps. Begin by submerging it in fresh water to loosen any dirt or residue that may have accumulated.
Using a suitable brush, gently scrub the surface of the flower to ensure it is clean. Once finished, rinse the flower thoroughly to remove any remaining debris.
Caring for the Iron Stem
The iron stem of your ceramic flower is designed to develop a natural rusted finish over time, allowing it to blend harmoniously with its outdoor surroundings. If you prefer to remove the rust and restore the stem’s original look, scrub the stem gently with a metal scourer, rinse it well, and dry it off before placing it back in your garden or display area.
