Love Birds Vase
Love Birds Vase is 26x16 cm and handmade using coiled stoneware clay by UK-based Renee Kilburn Ceramics.
The shape is built up over time as the lower coils need firming up before continuing with the next coil. Otherwise the piece will distort.
When the desired shape has been achieved, all the details are hand modelled and added. This is a wonderful part of the process and when the vase comes to life.
The shiny colourful glazing technique is one that has been developed over the past 30 years and unique to Renée Kilburn Ceramics.
The final result is a unique, very tactile and colourful work of art that is useful and waterproof too.

Cleaning Instructions
Pour warm water into a suitable bowl. Submerge the vase gently in the water, ensuring it is fully immersed. Using a soft brush, scrub the surface carefully to remove any dirt or debris. Once you are satisfied that the vase is clean, rinse it thoroughly with water to remove any remaining residue.
After rinsing, dry the sculpture gently with a towel. Once completely dry, simply put it back in its designated spot and continue to enjoy its decorative charm.
