Small Ceramic Sunflower Birdbath Garden Sculpture is made using Stoneware clay.
The material is frost proof so the base can be left outside over winter.
However, I will advise you to take the flower in before water turns to ice, as water expands when frozen and can damage the overlapping petals.
Every part of this piece is created by hand,  using coils and slabs. The details are modeled by hand too and applied one by one once the basic shape is completed.
The colourful glazes are applied by hand, using a method I have developed over the past 25 years.
This is a one-off creation so there is only one in the world, with the decoration changing slightly as it is turned around.
A real centerpiece on any patio, balcony or garden. It can also be a feature in any home too.
